What movies have made you cry or in tears?!?!

not a movie but this japanese drama made me fuckin

any faggot that says Click should get whipped with chains.
Old Yeller.

But I was 8 years old.
i’ve never actually cried, but when mufasa died i seriously felt so sad
Saving Private Ryan had me a bit choked up at the end.
Beastmaster, where they threw one of the ferrats into the fire. I was like 7 and thought those ferrats were the coolest animals ever.

i dont think ive ever cried or got teary eyed from any movies

this japanese series is the 1st

I was going to say click, but now

i got teary eyed at the end of last samurai…when the howizters take them all out. then katsumoto dies.

oh and in Gladiator when maximus’s friend is burying the wood family pieces and he says, "we will meet again, but not yet, not yet"

i came in here to say this

I was going to say click, but now

click was actually pretty sad, it kinda got to me
Finding Neverland made me pretty sad, I felt like a woman
hallmark commercial with the old lady that never gets anything in the mail and then her neighbor puts a greeting card in there
300 made me weap like a child. Because I had just wasted $11 and 2 hours of my life.

yup, forgot about that one.
The end of T2 when Arnold is giving the thumbs up as he’s being lowered to his ultimate demise.

LoL
transformers the movie
..oh man… priiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiimmmmmme nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Old Yeller.

But I was 8 years old.

i think watching that movie really sets up a child to learn to cope with tragedy

for example if u watch lion king and then your mother dies.. you can cope with it a little better

I guess I’m guilty because when Sandler ran after his kid and then died giving his Ex-wife the note I let out a tear or two (felt stupid for doing it but ehhhh)

I was already sad from the warriors death that Maximus had then that just pushed me over the edge.

Also In Braveheart where he is getting tortured and being killed then sees his wife in the crowd, then the FREEDOM! pushed me over the edge and I

Another Gibson movie was patriot I also let out a few tears for that one.

watch 1 liter of tears …i think it got to me b/c it was based on a true story of a girl with that disease
Titanic. When Jack froze and Rose finally let him go ( but at the same time she was never going to let go ) into the water.
Strangely enough, it was the Adam Sandler Mr Deeds movie.
My mom had just died, and I figured I had to keep it together for the funeral. About a month later, I was watching Mr. Deeds, and I started thinking: what a sad movie.

Life is funny.

lol @ smiley
I get choked up but that shit never comes out

Saving Private Ryan
Click
We Were Soldiers
The Professional

I cant see it. The site must be blocked here at work

i didnt even get teary eyed watching titanic..

but this 1 liter of tears drama got me fuckin CRYING
The Protector, made me a little teary at the end when the big elephant died
I might have shed a tear or two at the end of Schindlers list

flawless execution of that smiley

oh and pursuit of happiness: when he got the job at the end.
Terminator 2 when I was a kid and he goes into that lava shit, I cried.
besides all the usual culprits back when I was <12 years old (Free willy, T2 at the end when he gives the out of the lava); I think crash was the most recent

flawless execution of that smiley

oh and pursuit of happiness: when he got the job at the end.

SPOILER!!!
SPOILER!!

Will Smith GETS THE JOB AT THE END OF PURSUIT OF HAPPYNESS.
Probably the gayest post inhere, but Chasing Amy because I was in a similar situation at the time

And also Requiem for a Dream was quite saddening.. I dunno, movies don’t really make me sad.
I would say probably Dances With Wolves. When the evil white men attacked the innocent Native Americans and forced them off their land. That made me sad and even cry a bit!
I didn’t cry, but I did get choked up at The Deer Hunter and Band of Brothers.
Also, Ahmistad, when the Africans were allowed to come here.

i remember running and hiding behind a chair to bawl my little eyes out. Arnold was too tough to die

I guess that’s about it, though.

transformers the movie
..oh man… priiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiimmmmmme nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

.

fuck forgot about that one too. Djimon Housou is such a great actor.
the part where he stands up during the "trial" and starts yelling about freedom

SPOILER!!!
SPOILER!!

Will Smith GETS THE JOB AT THE END OF PURSUIT OF HAPPYNESS.

And I thought it’d end with him and his son bunched up next to a crack house, fading into the credits
Not a movie, but when Ash gave up Butterfree.. Omg i was soo sad.
There is a scene in The Patriot with Mel Gibson where he has been home from the war and his youngest daughter has refused to talk to him the whole time. As he is walking off to go back to the war she runs after him saying she will say anything and don’t go.

Shit makes me cry every time.
Not a movie, but in Band of Brothers there was a few times I got choked up. When Buck gets sent back.
i think you missed the point of my post

fuck forgot about that one too. Djimon Housou is such a great actor.

oh good one
I’ve never cried during a movie, but Reign Over Me (Adam Sandler plays the guy who lost his family in 9/11) when Sandler’s character finally tells his friend about what happened, it got me choked up.

Neverending story, when his horse sank in the swamp

I was about 6 years old at the time, but it was still sad.

Made my GF cry. That and Pursuit of Happyness… but she’s a cryer anyways.

Ah yes, another good one.
not a movie, but the Futurama episode where Fry decides not to bring his dog back to life, because he lived a full life without him, even though his dog waited by the street corner for him to come back, for the rest of his life.

Neverending story, when his horse sank in the swamp

I was about 6 years old at the time, but it was still sad.

oh yeah that one too….so sad..

That is a good scene, he knew the whole time that this was how it would end.

Wasn’t that suppose to be similar to a movie or a story about a dog waiting for it’s owner to return?

So did the audience… what a lousy movie.
Cry out of laughter : the office

Cry out of happiness: pursuit of happiness

Cry out of sadness: band of brothers.

BoB was the worst, i only cried at the end when it is revealed who all the old guys were and the i think winters is telling the camera how he told his grandson that he wasn’t a hero, but all the men he fought with were.

I was almost bawling over it
Million dollar baby… I cried through the whole end.
then again, it takes a lot for me to cry. like the death of a loved one.
i have almost cried watching an anime. there have been movies that also almost made me cry but i don’t remeber their names

Wolfwood’s last scene in the church in Trigun.
Smallville: When Clark wants to propose to Lana but cant because he knows she will die if she knows his secret

I waited soooo long for him to tell her but he cant, that sucks big time

the ending

You have to understand, I was talking to my mother and I just got my period…

my sister loves that anime(she doesn’t watch much anime) but she always mentions how sad it makes her. It is up there with the animes that have almost made me cry

yep…forrest gump as well for some reason
A walk to remember.

Fo sho!
The only movie to ever actually make tears come out of my eyes would be My Dog Skip. Any movie about a guy growing up with his dog has disastrous effects on me.

werd. also:

saving private ryan
we were soldiers
Thin Red Line

When I realized that I actually paid money to watch it.

That is one of the saddest things I have seen. The dog just waiting for Fry, man that gets me every time.

That didn’t make me cry but it got me fucking close. I think I was depressed for a few days after seeing that for the first time. So sad =(

Philadelphia probably has the saddest movie ending of all time
Full Metal Alchemist had the saddest ending ever for me.

Life is beautiful
Il Postino the Postman
The Notebook
A few others too, but I can’t remember at the moment.

Saving Private Ryan, in the graveyard.

Big Fish, when he steals his dad.

Field of Dreams, when he plays ball.

I am usually quite un-emotional, but movies make me cry all the time.
Tae Guk Gi (The Brotherhood of War).

It’s like a Korean "Saving Private Ryan" but better.
no movie has made me cry, a few had me teary eyed. Theres def more anime that gets me all teared up. I dunno what it is with anime, shit just gets my eyes all watery.
"Armageddon" and "The Notebook"….."E.T." as well but I was like 8 and kids cry all the damn time anyway…

I came in hoping that this had already been said.

One of the few that made me really cry.

this too.

I never cried, but Schindler’s List got me close. Such a powerful ending.

Rain Man too. When you have a mentally disabled brother it’s hard not to
300…NOT when Leonidas died, the second after, when Dilios lead them into Plataea, I forgot what he said, but knowing that after that they repelled the Persians….300 was a basic movie but a feel good one, because as Leonidas so emphasizes, unlike Xerxes, he doesn’t want gold or a title, he wants Sparta to be…Sparta. free.

Pan’s Labryrinth ofcourse

x2 thats a good episode. another movie is Pay it Fowrard man after all the things the boy (the same actor in The 6 Sense) did just die!
1. Old yeller
2. where the red fern grows
3. saving private ryan
In America and The Magdalene Sisters, talk about powerful movies….
Lots of movies have made me teary eyed – but I definitely cried at the end of Armageddon.
hmm not many movies but i agree with the ppl that said anime has gotten them tearyeyed, i never cried, but i came close..
Empire of The Sun

The ending right where lil’ Christian Bale gets reunited with his parents after living through hell. The first time I saw it I thought it was boring as hell, but nothing else was on TV, by the end I had to fight to hold the tears back .

A.I. is a close second… broke my heart and left a lump in my throat. fucking Spielberg
Shawshank Redemption… I have never cried over the thousand times I’ve watched but the last time it came on I did. The part where Red was talking about hope and the pacific…. so happy.

Driving Ms. daisy (another Freeman… seeing a connection) when he feeds her, choked me up.

Saving private Ryan gets me sometimes too

Came in here to say this.
the movie MASK from the 70’s with Cher in it… I have no idea why but I cry
Crash. when i thought the lil girl got shot, a tear or two came down. the music also kinda sent it over the top. but when she lived i realized what was up.
There is another that was good, it was an episode of Star Trek Deep Space 9. I don’t know the name of the episode but captain Cicso disappears and it shows the life of his son Jake doing everything he can to get him back.

Tony Todd plays the older Jake. You have to see it to understand what i mean but I had a lump in my throat though the whole thing.
Flags of our fathers when the credits rolled and they showed all their actual pictures.
Johny V when he died, then I cried laughing when he chased everyone shooting rockets.

Powerful scene in an otherwise boring movie.

Is that the Will Smith movie?
What was that movie about the two dogs and the cat…
Shadow, Chance and Sassy…at the end, when they don’t think Shadow is coming back always makes me cry

Oh, yeah that totally had me choked up, but I didn’t cry. I might have had it been built up more or had another couple sad scenes just before it
The Last Kiss

its all about relationships and all the angles of how they go wrong
"Talk to Her" by Pedro Almodovar
The only movie that made me cry a little bit
Only a few really…

Annnnnddd there all chick movies.

I remember my aunt cried once during Wrestling (WCW or WWF or whatever the hell it is now). We still constantly give her shit for that one. Also, I dont really cry but I get teary eyed, and i remember when I was in like third grade and we read Where the Red Fern Grows, that one kinda got me. Not a movie, but the front page story on ESPN right now makes me pretty sad too, the one about the UNC mascot.
At the end of Men of Honor, when Cuban stands up and walks in full diver gear. Yeah, i got teary eyed.
Nobody cried in "What’s Eating Gilbert Grape"? That’s the first one that comes to mind for me.

And one that I don’t think anyone will name:
Lilo and Stitch (when he’s holding the book and says "I’m lost") (oh, and the ending)
I get weepy when Aragorn tells the Hobbits "You bow to no one".
these movies have gotten me pretty teary-eyed

Schindler’s List – at the end, as he says "i could have saved so much more"…
&
The Last Samurai & Hotel Rwanda
that one old 80’s commercial for wendys and that old lady opens her burger and yells where’s the beef! damn i cryed i felt bad for that old lady cause that was a wickedly small pattie.

Out of all those listed, this scene gets me everytime!
Pan’s Labyrinth and The Devil’s Rejects—I always cry when they play "Freebird" and my favorite serial killers are shot.

Geez, I feel like a woman now. No one in here mentioned ‘Somewhere in Time’. I watched it after Reeves died, for kicks. The ending left me depressed for two days, because I never finished it before. Had to wash it out with Ask a Ninja.

These made me teary-eyed though:
Hotel Rwanda
Schindler’s List
300 (ending scene)
Last Samurai (ending scene)

It’s so damn sad!!

I remember seeing this in the theater and some huge gangstur dude comes in w/ his homies. When that scene happened he was balling and sniffling "Why you gotta do dat mang?"

My vote for most depressing movie, though not a tear-jerker, would be a Japanese movie called "Nobody Knows."

I couldn’t sleep because I was so depressed after watching it.

I’ll do you one better…

Tae Guk Gi (The Brotherhood of War). It is sort of like a Korean "Saving Private Ryan" but better.
^^^^Apparently I already posted that movie selection in this thread. LOL

Anyway, another movie with a sad ending is "Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance." It didn’t make me cry, but it is very sad. Actually, the scene where the father imagines that his recently drowned little girl comes back to him and gives him a hug, and then she says, "Daddy, why didn’t you give me swimming lessons a bit earlier?" gets me close to tears. The movie is beautifully shot and very heart wrenching in more than one place. It is the first of Park Chanwook’s "Vengeance trilogy," Oldboy being the second movie.
Anything that involves a dying dog

Notebook
John Q

. show is so
The ending of grave of the fireflies is the saddest thing I’ve ever seen. Knowing that it’s based on a true story makes it even worse. The part where the 6 year old girl walks up to her brother and tells him that she made him some riceballs and then gives him a clump of mud…

Wow…. really?

i cried but i was only like 10 when i saw it.. sad
The Champ – last 10 minutes. Ricky Schroder earned that Golden Globe
never truly done but The Notebook is the closest

(Six feet under made my cry tho, but that’s TV)
Homeward Bound when I was little.
West Side Story.
Reign Over Me had me a little teary eyed.
Man On Fire

yeah, not really cus of the story line but more because Ive known quite a few people who have gone through that, its just horrible

Made my cry due to suckage.

Yeah, the movie is horrible. It only has an average rating on imdb of 8.7 out of 10. And it is only number 30 on the top 250 list. It only gets perfect or near perfect reviews from all the critics.

With all that said, I certainly didn’t come near to crying at any part.
i’m telling ya, if you can watch where the red fern grows without crying, you’d have to be a heartless fuck. that damn movie almost makes me cry just thinking about it

i always do.
anyway.

Forrest Gump – When he’s talking to Jenny’s grave
Motorcycle Diaries
