Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story

The movie as a whole wasn’t too great but the soundtrack I will DEFINITELY be picking up

John C. Reilly did an amazing job and I can only hope that the DVD has a shit ton of extras: goofs, deleted scenes, tour performances….

It seems like that could have done more with an ajmost direct knock-off of the last big names in rock but still wasn’t a terrible movie.

Several VERY funny parts but they seemed a bit far apart….still….soundtrack is amazing

if you’ve seen the movie look up "cox across america" on youtube.
there were some really funny parts, but they were too spread out. too many subtle jokes, not enough quotables. I guess i shouldnt have gone in expecting cal naughton jr as johnny cash

she’s still not that hot….no movie, show, or picture will ever sell that to me

but she did a decent part, too bad she couldn’t sing her parts too.

really the soundtrack makes the movie worth it, and the extended versions of the songs, such as royal jelly (dylan track) make the soundtrack a must have.
I really liked the movie. Those who don’t know their rock history will miss many of the best gags.
1/2 the fun was picking out which guy Reilly was parodying per scene.

truth
just saw it, wanted to walk out but i went with my mom so it wasnt going to happen
i’m waiting for the dvd on this one, but you all convinced me to look in to the soundtrack right now.
I think after watching ray and walk the line, this movie is extremely funny.

That was hilarious, as was Jack White as Elvis. Parodying Brian Wilson and Bob Dylan was also funny. Who else did Dewey parody that I’m forgetting?

not really great and quotable like talladega or anchorman.
but it was funny.

wait until a friend buys it on DVD, then borrow it.
