Surprise surprise tinker tailor soldier spy gets 84% on rotten tomatoes

Another tediously boring piece of shit like a Kings speech I even think there were some of the same actors , I’m not sure cause everybody looks exactly the same

another case of the director thinking he’s so smart and ambitious that he has to bore the shit out of everybody and everybody wants to be smart too so they all give a good ratings because of its "great cast"

You can tell the producers thought the same thing because the trailer shows the scene where there is a flyover of jets in Budapest.. This scene was literally four seconds long in the film but they do it anyway just to pull in some regular people meaning the ones who don’t write reviews

I wasn’t expecting a Bond movie but two hours of old British dudes in suits sitting around and talking about vague bullshit does not entertainment make

maybe not for you

but for everyone else

The King’s Speech was fucking awesome. Your argument is invalid.

It was boring, smug, pretentious garbage for people to circle jerk to cause they want to seem highbrow thespians… A self fulfilling circle jerk.

Truth.

Thread backfire. I now want to see this movie.

overhyped garbage .. Watching mushrooms grow out of dog shit is more entertaining .. And no, it doesn’t mean I like "Real Steel", but half dead British fucks blowing each other for an Oscar isn’t interesting viewing either, especially if some pretentious asshole director is trying to force this bullshit down your throat like its gold.

No, you half-wit. It’s fucking awesome because it’s a well written story that is very well acted with interesting characters and rich visuals that are based entirely in reality. You can call it over-hyped garbage, but that only draws attention to all the understanding of film that you do not have.

Again, your argument is invalid because I just fucking invalidated it.

Good day, sir.

I’ve never seen this movie yet, but IMDB says that Rellik has a shitty taste in movies. Considering that, this is going to be the next movie I watch. I have the book on my tablet but never cared to read it.

Edit: I’m talking about The King’s Speech, but Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy definitely looks interesting.

no you didnt invalidate shit its just your worthless opinion based on absolutely Zero (lol) evidence whatsoever..

"well written" rofl.. its convoluted dog shit, trying so hard to be elitist that at some point you dont give a fuck about any of the characters at all and hope they all die, unless you’re a #1 fan and read the book, but then you can fuck off

"very well acted" haha.. let me guess gary oldman right? yeah wearing glasses and NOT CHANGING YOUR FACIAL EXPRESSION FOR THE ENTIRE FUCKING MOVIE is "very well acted" such bullshit

visuals rofl.. fuck me. I don’t need 10 minutes of watching fucking random trains go by, closeups of pouring tea or watching some old faggot scratch his balls. I get it, we’re in fucking London. Why is that rich visuals? why do you think no one has ever done this before?

its such bullshit… its like the Emperor’s new clothes of cinema, no one wants to say the obvious because they want to be part of the "in crowd"

It was good, but overrated as hell. No way was it better than The Fighter or Inception.

It was the quintessential example of oscar bait.

but because inception has special effects, it’s automatically low-brow garbage only fit for mass consumption by the borderline retarded low-brow plebs

While I enjoyed Inception (loved it, actually) The King’s Speech had a higher caliber of acting overall, but it called for it. Both are great movies. I still haven’t seen Tinker Taylor Soldier Spy.

Inception had a much deeper and more complex story. And the acting was in no way of lower caliber than TKS.

King’s Speech looked like an episode of Masterpiece Theater. Again, it was good, I enjoyed it, but I was underwhelmed. It did NOT deserve best pic.

Nobody said it was better than Inception, fuckface.

The academy of motion picture arts and sciences said it was, cockbreath.

And I’m saying it’s overrated.

Looks like I’m the odd one out who thinks that Inception was overrated as hell. I enjoyed the movie and thought it was good, but to me it just didn’t live up to all of the hype and praise surrounding it.

I suggest you watch it again and really pay attention. Because it really is as good as everybody says.

Who the cast included.

Colin Firth.
Geoffery Rush
Helena Bonham Carter

Who the cast did not include.
Gary Oldman

Though, after taking a moment to consider where you’re getting your misinformation from, I googled Gary Oldman and The King’s Speech. Unless you actually take a moment to read the articles that come up a moron might believe that he was in it.

Your argument has been invalidated in its entirety due to recent information coming to light which suggests that you haven’t actually seen The King’s Speech and as such have no basis for your statements.

Unable to comprehend the significance of the backdrop being shown. Check.

Comparing apples to oranges. Check.

Yes, everything here checks out. You’re either a troll or you actually are retarded. Can’t decide which it is. One thing is certain though, if there isn’t a lot of explosions, lens flare or camera shake then you’re going not going to be able to fathom what it is you’re seeing and as such will judge it to be ‘faggoty’.

I feel bad for your parents. Having to admit to people that they raised you. Then again, they probably don’t admit to it. I certainly wouldn’t admit to having raised anyone as bereft of intellect as you.

Your argument is still invalid, this time because YOU invalidated it, trolltard.

The academy of motion picture arts and sciences said it was, cockbreath.

And I’m saying it’s overrated.

LOL Since when has the Academy been accurate?

Who said it was? If I thought it was accurate, I wouldn’t be disagreeing with it.

"Overrated" doesn’t mean it was a bad movie. It means it’s rated more highly than it deserves. That’s exactly what TKS is.

I’m the Assistant Principal of humanity, and if you don’t stfu and agree with me, I’m going to send you to the office for a paddling.

Yes, I understand exactly what overrated means. I just don’t feel that The King’s Speech is, as you describe it, overrated. Nor do I feel that Inception went overlooked for best picture. You may consider it unfortunate but I the memorialization of a culture’s historically significant moments being recognized over a work of fiction by an overrated director is the most fortunate thing that can happen.

My balls. Suckle them.

I enjoyed TTSS but not 84% worth. I had even read the book and condensing all the "action" into a couple hours made it confusing for me and even more confusing for the audience who hadn’t read the book.

But I would give Oldman the Oscar. He deserved it a long time ago for Leon.

He deserved it a long time ago for any number of performances. Including his roles in True Romance, Sid and Nancy, Bram Stoker’s Dracula, The Fifth Element and Immortal Beloved.

I just feel the actors in King’s Speech were given more to work with, which was why the acting was overall of higher quality than Inception.

Zero im talking about ttss in the case of of Oldman of course.. And you don’t need explosions and action scenes to make a good spy flick that actually fun to watch… Look at "the lives of others" much more character development , so I actually give a shit and don’t die of boredom

Backpedal. It is what you just did.

It’s still a shit movie , I’m not backpedaling. there’s no character development at all, i gave u an example of a cold war spy movie without explosions that is actually interesting

And I informed you that you’re an idiot. Nuff said.

Sorry for pointing out your massive failure, halfwit. Toodles.

lol u mad

Not a bit.

The BBC miniseries version with Alec Guiness is even better.
( But the OP would hate that one even more. )

vagina. that is my response to your use of imdb. you’ve never seen it. don’t pretend you have.

I first watched them in the 80’s on public television when there was still a cold war. I’ve even got the DVDs … and the DVDs for Smiley’s People … and *gasp* I even read the novels!

I even took a photo just for you.

Guess who plays Karla at the end of Smiley’s People?

STFU, nuthugger.

You’ve done better.
Hit me again.

I no lie.
Honest.

You ain’t Gots to lie, Craig. You ain’t Gots to lie.
