I love Pixar. I still haven’t managed to watch all of Cars though. I keep renting it, getting 15 minutes into it, and either falling asleep out of disappointment or turning it off in disgust. I dunno why they screwed that one up so much… who chose that script? Ratatouille was great though, thumbs up. I can’t wait for Wall-E (). My favorite is still Finding Nemo because I think it has the mix of the best, most accessible (for all ages) story coupled with some amazing advances in digital animation. Plus I heavily identify with Dory.

Searched and no threads on this, but it totally deserves one

It’s a drama/music type. Saw it a couple nights ago and loved it, highly recommend
Damn good movie shot on a low budget.
I love both Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova.
Soundtrack to this movie is amazing. They are both extremely talented singer/songwriters.

The "Footloose" scene had me in tears…

I heard that too and watched anyway. Glad I did.

I could see how it might not be for everyone’s tastes, but to each their own I guess.

During the part where he drives past the mannequin and stop the car to see it standing there, I swore I saw the head turn to face him. I even looked at the bootleg on that scene 10 times and saw it move. Did it really move or was that in his head?

Something always made me question Carpenter’s Halloween and watching Zombie’s remake last night made me question it even more.

In Carpenter’s, it opens with Michael killing his sister after her “date” leaves and then the parents come home. Then you meet Jamie Lee Curtis and that’s supposed to be Michael’s sister, even though she’s never mentioned in the beginning.

So, what happened to the parents in the beginning of the movie and where was Curtis as a baby? Are the people she’s living with her foster parents? They give her a key and tell her to “drop it by the old Myer’s place,” so maybe it is?
