Batman: Gotham Knight

Anyone else interested in this? It’s supposed to take place in between Batman Begins and the Dark Knight. I’ve acquired it early, it’s definitely interesting…if nothing else, it’s great that they got Kevin Conroy to voice Bats again…
I dug ummmmm the last one with deadshot. that was my favorite in terms of animation style and story. Crossfire was also pretty good comes in 2nd.

NETFLIX

i really wanted to sign up for it to get the unlimited movies for a month for 17 bucks. Then I read the way it works and of course, it does not work for Macs. WTF!
they have a program where you can ’stream’ them.

So instead of getting a dvd.. you just go to the site..or whatever and watch it..
Darn..you’re missing out on compressed, low resolution movies.

good writers create the concept, and watch it unfold with the cast

Somewhat. They watch it get developed into something different through the creative crew, in which they develop it with the cast, and the editor finally develops it into the movie.

Mama Mia!

It’s “Mamma Mia” and I’m sure it will be decent. The musical itself is really excellent, I only worry the casting for the movie will make it weak.
another great musical becomming a crappy movie.

Hollywood really doesnt have any originality anymore do they?

I saw the previews in the theater and I immediately turned to my wife and said, WTF? I thought it was a joke or some kind of commercial.

Idiocracy

Has anyone seen this movie? Made by Mike Judge (Office Space) a couple years back. I guess Fox buried it because it was so anti-corporate? The few clips I’ve seen of it look pretty funny, and I guess it’s obtained a bit of a cult following.
I have seen it. It was okay. It was a good concept for a movie that wasnt executed as well as it could have or atleast thats my opinion. Its worth a viewing though.
I think it’s great at mocking what we are turning into……way over the top.

New Holby City Advert

I suppose this goes here.

The new adverts are REALLY kick-arse.
i’m pretty sure not many american’s will know what this is!
I’m not restricting my posts so Americans can understand it. I don’t know half of the programs americans have.

Still, it’s a pretty cool advert, right?

Please Recommend The Sickiest Movie You’ve Seen

I want to really feel chill, thrill, grossed out, and disgusted. But I usually have a very high tolerance to violence and the grotesque, and scenes depicting morally detestable acts. I need good recommendations on the sickest movie I can possibly see, whether from the graphic nature or the premise.

I have just put Inside on my movie queue and hope this will be decent. Supposedly a pregnant girl gets her belly cut open! That sounds fairly promising, I hope it delivers! (pardon the pun)

black knight question

Was it the Black Knight or King Arthur that said “We’ll call it a draw.”

Because my roommate insists it was the black knight

Which makes absolutely no sense to me

I mean let’s think about it.

The entire scene, King Arthur was trying to avoid making a.. uh, scene

Yet the dark knight had to keep it real up in the thizang and all that other stuff with the “None shall pass” this and the “Let’s keep fighting” bullshit
