great movie. I was expecting Pacino to flip out at the end and kill everyone but didn’t happen. Mathew played a good part. Nice twist at the end.

DVD players
I was given a task of finding a region free DVD player that will also play DiVX. I was going to post this in the gadgets forum but it seems like it’s the cellphone/Ipod forum now and I figured people would know more about DVD stuff here than there. Price range is around $300 but if there is a decent one for $150 you can be sure as hell i’ll grab that.
I softhacked a $30 DVD player to be region free.
I got it at Radio Shack.

any others? Tears of the Sun was a great movie for squad dynamics and Band of Brothers was an incredible miniseries, but what about movies?
I am not sure which one would be best. I think We Were Soldiers with Mel Gibson should be considered as well.

Golden Globes
What did people think of the Golden Globes? They are so much better to watch than the Oscars becasue they only give awards in categories that people want to watch.

Just got home from seeing it.
Awesome movie with a great ending to it.
the real story didnt have a great ending.
but then i heard it is more about how they were hunting the terrorists or so…. and not so much about the thing that happened in munich.
i thought it was really good, until the last 30 minutes, i thought the ending kinda drug on. i’d still reccomend it tho, thats all i can say bad about it
I thought it was a great movie. The sex scene was a little , but what else do you expect from Spielberg. Good movie though.

I see movies before they come out but its frustrating
I get to see the movies before they are released through a friend that runs a theatre here. When they get a new movie for say…a friday release they have to splice it together and test screen it…I watch that test screen usually on a Tuesday at like 1am…but then it sucks cause I have to wait at least a week for people to start talking about it and get into all the hype.
and i have to go alone
