Ironman is going to be the best movie this year!
Anyone else as pumped for this as I am?
I’m not even gonna lie…I really want to see this movie.
I think they chose the wrong cast for this movie. One of the big reasons why the new batman movies are so good is because of a great cast. The cast will ruin the success of this movie.

I still don’t get people not wanting to see movies based on whose not in it. I mean, who gives a shit as long as it’s a good movie. Unless of course it’s a film full of horrible actors.
downey jr is an awesome douchebag like tony stark. i only seen the trailers and i think its going to be great. its not stark or the actors im worried about. its the script.
easily gonna be a great movie… i mean everyone has liked all the other marvel movies.. its just another one to add to the collection

all the good scenes (more like the only scenes where he will actually use the suit) are being shown in the commercials/previews already

Word, both look good. Hopefully between batman, the hulk, and iron man at least one of them will be good.

I used to read the comic and I’d forgotten what a jerk Stark could be–Downey is perfect, he’ll have the darkness to play an alcoholic, the charm to be a slime we’ll still want to see redeemed, and the goatee to be the rich well-groomed prick–and the effects that they’ve shown us so far look tangible, 3-dimensional, not flat CGI cartoons. Count me in for this one, even though after Spider Man 3 and X-men 3 I was off the Marvel Movie train.
It’s not really fair to make judgements based on third movies, they’re pretty hit or miss overall. Even though I actually liked X3 for what it was supposed to deliver(mostly action).
I hope for the best on Iron Man, but i’ll still be holding out for a possible sequel. IMO the sequels always give me a bit more, be it style, substance, or action. I think it just comes down to the first movie being mostly introduction and I really kind of prefer the stories deeper into a comic.

but i’m still holding back a little bit. something is keeping me from getting too excited about it.
Unknown actors work the best for lead roles in superhero films, it will be crap. FX will be enough to get me there though.

He’s the whole reason I’m interested. I had zero interest until I saw the trailers. I don’t give a shit about Iron Man, but if there are more moments like I saw in the trailers I think I’ll like this one.

Now I heard this morning people are seriously 100% honest and saying it’s literally better than like Spider-Man, X-Men, etc. The best superhero movie in years, which blows me away considering he’s not even a beloved character to most people.
I’m sorry but a superhero movie can never be the best movie. Not saying it will be bad but they are adaptions of a story that already took place. Being the best movie means it has to have some originality or atleast thats my opinion.
What about book to movie adaptations?
Either way, I can’t wait to see this.
I don’t know that it was significantly better than those, but definitely on par or even somewhat better.
Since Marvel Studios did this on their own, it should be good. And Robert Downey Jr. just feels like the perfect Tony Stark.
From what I heard they did a really good job of making it fresh and current with the times, so there’s that at least.
I dont think they really can either. They can be great movies but to be the best, it needs to be fresh and creative.

Just heard another report say it makes movies lke Spider-Man seem amateur. They are buildng this shit up hardcore, I can’t wait.

A lot of funny moments also.
I think the first half or 2/3rds was much stronger than the last portion but it was good overall nonetheless.
Oh, and audi dominated the film

Movie was awesome. I think it’s just as good as batman begins and easily the best marvel movie.
