Idiocracy
Has anyone seen this movie? Made by Mike Judge (Office Space) a couple years back. I guess Fox buried it because it was so anti-corporate? The few clips I’ve seen of it look pretty funny, and I guess it’s obtained a bit of a cult following.
I have seen it. It was okay. It was a good concept for a movie that wasnt executed as well as it could have or atleast thats my opinion. Its worth a viewing though.
I think it’s great at mocking what we are turning into……way over the top.
It’s good for a laugh.

I watched with no expectations, and I wonder if that’s why I actually liked it.

Actually no. I went into it kind of “hmm, seems like an interesting concept” and I know it’s supposed to be ridiculous…but none of it was funny to me. Just horribly acted and overdone
I felt like it could have been done better I guess.
i loved it. it’s stupid comedy that gets you laughing cause it’s so stupid…. plenty of one liners to be had

I thought this too, I loved it, but the movie was basically what I’ve been thinking for a long time is going to happen and is happening. The intro is basically the same thing I’ve been telling friends what I think’s happening, lol.
Maybe it’s because I deal with the general public everyday, but 90% of the people out there are goddamn idiots and aren’t far from being retarded.
It’s a shame that it wasn’t given more publicity, but I can see why with the carl’s jr and buttfuckers things that it wouldn’t have gone over too well with most corporations,

I too deal with the general public and agree that 90% of people are close to being retarded. But, I think it has always been that way and it will never change.Not all the jokes work, but I sure believed it could happen. A scarier dystopia than Brazil.
