how does the movie, "shooter" end?… V. SPOILERS (please)

i was only able to watch up until the part the president got shot by the machine rifle? and wahlberg is shot at by the fat local police officer who inevitably misses, which causes wahlberg to fall out the window…

i just want to know how it ends and why they framed him

Haven’t seen the movie, but read the book. The other sniper actually shoots the Salvadoran Bishop because he was going to implicate the CIA in a slaughter of innocents.
They use Bob Lee as a patsy but that is the weakest part of the plot, really just a McGuffin device so he can lead the bad guys on a cross country chase and get revenge.

the ending is pretty amazing, i say go to blockbuster and rent it because seriously the ending is the best part of the movie and there’s a lot to it.

in the movie it was an automated rifle
in the end everyone dies but wahlberg. but its worth watching to see for your self, he does it in a very cool manner.
