Uh, no.

Watch Electric Dragon 80,000 V then get back to me.

ocean’s 11

matt damon, brad pitt, george clooney, etc.

I fully endorse DodgeBoy’s above statement to the fullest regard it has in reference to this thread

I’m tempted to add you both back to my ignore list.

ocean’s 11

matt damon, brad pitt, george clooney, etc.

I’m tempted to add you both back to my ignore list.

why don’t you just hart us?
uh….1963?

sounds like bandwagon………
while that list may be great, how many are still alive? Name a modern equivalent?

BTW, It’s a mad mad mad mad mad mad world is a very funny movie no matter what your age is.
the usual suspects, glengarry glen ross, interview with a vampire, oceans 11..

Glengarry Glen Ross doesnt have enough characters to qualify. Great movie though

I’m tempted to add you both back to my ignore list.

ocean’s 11

matt damon, brad pitt, george clooney, etc.

that would be my second choice.

It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World has.. Spencer Tracy, Milton Berle, Sid Caesar, Buddy Hackett, Ethel Merman, Mickey Rooney, Dick Shawn, Phil Silvers, Terry-Thomas, Jonathan Winters, Edie Adams, Dorothy Provine, Jim Backus, Peter Falk, Buster Keaton, Don Knotts, Mike Mazurki, Jimmy Durante, Charles Lane, Marvin Kaplan, Andy Devine, and Arnold Stang.. just to name a few

uh….1963?

sounds like bandwagon………

if it is I started it.

yeah i love that movie.. but what’s the magic number? i count 5 stars..
Jack Lemmon
Al Pacino
Ed Harris
Kevin Spacey
Alec Baldwin

while that list may be great, how many are still alive? Name a modern equivalent?

BTW, It’s a mad mad mad mad mad mad world is a very funny movie no matter what your age is.

Fuck, I saw that flick at the show when it first came out!!!

Spencer Tracy, Milton Berle, Sid Caesar, Buddy Hackett, Ethel Merman, Mickey Rooney, Dick Shawn, Phil Silvers, Terry-Thomas, Jonathan Winters, Edie Adams, Dorothy Provine, Jim Backus, Peter Falk, Buster Keaton, Don Knotts, Mike Mazurki, Jimmy Durante, Charles Lane, Marvin Kaplan, Andy Devine, and Arnold Stang.. just to name a few

I didn’t even have to click the link to know what movie this is.

I think you are absolutely right. This is pretty much every classic comedian all working together in one movie. No one overpowers the others and it works to create one of the greatest comedy’s of all time. This was on AMC I think, the other night commercial free.
Does comedy count? If so, it has to be Yellowbeard (Madelyn Khan, Peter Boyle, Marty Feldman, Cheech, Chong, Eric Idle, Graham Chapman, John Cleese, Peter Cook, etc.

Edit: It’s a mad mad mad mad world has a pretty good one too.
for a modern movie, i think you have to include jfk in this one
How about "The Player" with Tim Robbins?
It is about Hollywood, so tons of cameos.
Oceans 11 was amazing that they could get that many current hollywood leading men under one roof. Spoke well that they could put aside egos like that.

Some other good casts:

American Graffiti

The Godfather

The Outsiders

I think im dislexic , i read the title as ‘greatest car ever assembled for a movie’
pulp fiction
true romance
glengarry
royal tenembaums
coffee and cigarettes will have a nice cast

i would have to go with oceans 11 original or remake is fine…both have huge names, or caddyshack…biggest names in comedy at the time were in that movie, halarious movie with a halarious cast
Silverado had a great cast. Back when Kevin Costner didn’t suck.

Spencer Tracy, Milton Berle, Sid Caesar, Buddy Hackett, Ethel Merman, Mickey Rooney, Dick Shawn, Phil Silvers, Terry-Thomas, Jonathan Winters, Edie Adams, Dorothy Provine, Jim Backus, Peter Falk, Buster Keaton, Don Knotts, Mike Mazurki, Jimmy Durante, Charles Lane, Marvin Kaplan, Andy Devine, and Arnold Stang.. just to name a few

It never ceases to amaze me how a film with so many great actors in it could be so damned unfunny.
Hmm… Quantity or quality? Oceans Eleven probably had the most high profile stars together. Certainly one of the greatest casts of recent times
JFK had a pretty good cast

Yellowbeard.

Peter Boyle
Madeline Khan
Marty Feldman
Graham Chapman
John Cleese
Eric Idle
Cheech
Chong
Peter Cook
Spike Milligan
James Mason
Kenneth Mars

And the list goes on.

Iggy Pop
Billy Bob Thornton
Jared Harris
Gabriel Byrne
John Hurt
Alfred Molina

What a coincidence. I signed on specifically to post in this thread, and here it is at the top of the forum.

12 Angry Men.

I just saw this for the first time, and I"m sorry I waited. They just don’t make films like this anymore. 1 location. 12 characters who are always onscreen. Everybody gets important dialog. And the script is just awesome.

Martin Balsam
John Fiedler
Lee J. Cobb
E.G. Marshall
Jack Klugman
Ed Binns
Jack Warden
Henry Fonda
Joseph Sweeney
Ed Begley Sr.
George Voskovec

you obviously havent seen that movie then to think there’s a cast in it. That’s like saying the 2001 oscars had the greatest cast ever.

aside from robin williams, i dont see a notable "star" in that movie
Lost in Oz with
Melissa is such a beautiful woman with attracted appeal…

Melissa has more upcoming film which are still post production like Waz..a horror fil of her…

Do you love someone enough to die for them?

The Departed?

For modern movies, I would have to agree with this.

How about Red Dawn? A lot of up & comers in that movie and a couple who flamed out early. (C. Thomas Howell.)
Big Trouble (2002) great movie too, shame it tanked due to the 9/11 attacks making airport humor less acceptable.

Rene Russo
Stanley Tucci
Tom Sizemore
Johnny Knoxville
Dennis Farina
Jack Kehler
