Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer
Went and caught a screening tonight, not nearly as bad as it could have been. Some fairly decent humor, Jessica Alba nude although nothing really shows, and a flawed albeit decent plotline. Quite good CGI work. TBH, probably one of the best superhero movies in awhile, then again with Spiderman 3 tainting the waters it isn’t really hard to stick out.
I’d give it a 7/10, not something I’d go watch again but something that was enjoyable once. And to their credit, they kept it short, 1.5 hours long, none of this pirates/spidey 3 hour nonsense.
Think about how odd it would look seeing him onscreen, even to comic book loyalists.
eh i guess that’s true, but it was just another "fun" movie, they made silver surfer kinda gay, like he’s all bad add on the board and then when they take it away he goes all limp, wtf is that. wasn’t he able to be super cosmic without his board in the comics? i remember he could recreate and call on my board anytime he wanted.
i made the mistake of watching the 1st Fan 4 movie, i won’t make that mistake again, fuck this movie and everyone involved in making it.
Fan 4 was such a great comic you almost gotta try to screw it up to get it as bad as the 1st movie.

The first movie was tantamount to abortion on film, this was much better. Not good, but better.
I take it then you didnt see his helmet in the film

the secound one was much more action packed and much more enjoyable to watch.
I liked it. I coulda done without some of the humor tho. and Galactus was in the very end. you could see his outline.

I felt Doom didn’t need that large of a role.
They could have also pulled off a better ending.
Glad I saved seven bucks.
Oh yeah the Surfer’s CGI was so 90′. (Kinda like Spawn’s cape)

i’d give it a 4/10. none of it was funny, i think i laughed at one part very very near the end. the fighting wasn’t entertaining, the plot sucked, and the ending was terrible. i really didn’t like this movie.
