Death Proof-Extended and Uncut DVD
Picked it up tonight at midnight, the added scenes are great, especially the start of the second half of the movie. The lapdance scene is , fucking rediculous. All in all, a great movie made better.
I want to pick this up, I know this is going to be an excellent DVD with the extras.
It also comes with a voucher for 5$ off the Planet Terror DVD, which is cool.
They are selling them seperately? The ad I saw was both of them as Grindhouse.
Don’t know where you saw that, but yeah they’re releasing them separately. Death Proof today and Planet Terror Oct. 16. I’m sure like six months from now they’ll come out with an ‘Ultimate Edition’ Grindhouse DVD though.
Okay, I was wrong. I didnt look closely enough, the ad said Grindhouse but the picture of the case clearly says Death Proof.
I will definately wait for the full edition because I am sure they will be releasing it sometime.

I dunno man, the extended version of Death Proof is awesome. All of the added in stuff is really worth it. I’ll get the full edition too, whenever it may come, but for me it was definitely worth buying.
honestly it’s ok but that’s a ton of useless boring dialog, i understand the point of it being like the cheap old movies and that’s how they were but that’s why no one watches those old movies lol.

I just watched it, didn’t like it at all. There was way too much boring dialogue. I might have liked it better if I had seen the shortened version . Also whats the deal with the strip scene? I didn’t notice anything on the dvd that looked like it would have been cut out of the movie. No nudity or anything?
I watched it and aree with the the whole dialogue comments. When it did pick up it was entertaining though.
why woudl you want to watch a wannabe exploitation flick in HD? Kind of defeats the purpose of the gritty look.
P.S. Go buy some real grindhouse
It’s a lot more enjoyable when you haven’t just seen another movie before it, I’m glad they split it up for DVD.

I though the whole deal was it was supposed to be a double-feature.
the movie was pointless. after all the hype, i was more than disapointed. thats probably why i sucked at the box office.
also, i didn’t like pulp fiction. never did. never jumped on the bandwagon. I did like Kill Bill however.
Why all the hate? The chase scene is Top 10 in my book!
I’m in the apparent minority that thought planet terror was better then death proof. I just could not get into this movie. It’s probably because i was expecting a little more action.
Saw both over the weekend.. I was expecting a Tarantino/Rodriguez film, and that’s what I got.
The dialog seems essential to all their movies.. like the diner scene in Reservoir Dogs, or the chat in the diner with Uma and Travolta in Pulp Fiction. The dialog is just as essential as the action, I think.
