Cars?

Anyone excited about this movie?
I may see it, but the story looks really stupid. And it has to be a letdown after "Incredibles".
Incredibles was great, I am hoping Cars is funny – Owen Wilson should do a good job
I saw an advance screening last week and it was awesome. Like A+ awesome, and I don’t even like animated movies. Extremely well-made — the animation was ridiculously real — oh, and stay for the credits when you go see it!
funny. but I am a car fan to begin with. the music video at the end isnt bad as well

I’ve always thought every Pixar movie was going to be dumb, then I see it and completely change my mind…. so I’m hoping this is no different
I went and seen this last night.. Wow it is awesome.. Also the credits part is funny. Also Larry the Cable Guy’s parts were hillarious….
It is getting good reviews. Everything Pixar has done has been golden.

Well when you build your own software and even george lucas uses it for star wars then you know that you are doing something right..

the credits were one of the most clever sequences ive seen in a movie….If i had half the imagination of those guys….
I liked the "cow" tipping in the movie.

I did not like the parents who couldn’t keep their kids quiet.
Right behind us a bored 3 year old was singing nusery rhymes in her normal voice.

Next time I will go to the late show.
Pixar movies are kind of like my guilty pleasure. I know I shouldn’t be excited about them, but I always am and I always go see them. Cars was no differant, I loved it. The only criticism was I thought it was a bit too long, they could have cut out a little of the love story. The short at the beginning was hilarious and the credits were great as always. John Ratzenberger was great!

When Finding Nemo opened, I went to the late show on opening night and there were no children so that is probably best. Now I have a child so that doesnt really work now.
Just got back from this.

It was not the best Pixar movie by a long shot, but was definitely watchable and entertaining.

It was a total rip-off of "Doc Hollywood" for the storyline, but there were enough puns and cleverness to make up for that.

G-rated Pixar movies attract families with very young children and those are the movies that they should be attending (not R or even PG-13 ones or any past 8 at night.) So Pixar/Disney should realize that anything past 90 minutes is too long. At 90 minutes in the noise level in the theatre went up significantly, if the credits had been rolling the antsy kids could leave.

I’d watch it again when it came on cable, but won’t buy the DVD.
