American Gangster (November 2): Denzel Washington and Russell Crowe face off in this Ridley Scott-directed film based on the life of ’70s heroin kingpin Frank Lucas. The Denz should be great for a role like this. I like how the cloud of smoke and his stern expression are offset by a graphic of a piece of pie (pictured). Very gangsta.
